Privacy Policy – Chat Translator - Live Chat

Summary: Chat Translator - Live Chat translates text you choose in real time. We do not create accounts, do not store translation content, and do not use ads or analytics. All translation text is processed only for the immediate request.

1. Developer

Chat Translator - Live Chat is operated by Aktaris Tech ("we", "us", "Developer").

2. Data Handling

Translation Text: Sent only to the translation engine you select; discarded after the response. Not logged or stored by us.
Preferences (e.g., last languages): Stored locally on your device; you can clear them by resetting or uninstalling.
Technical Diagnostics: May include non-content error codes or performance metrics (never the raw text) used transiently to keep the feature working.

3. We Do NOT Collect

No names, emails, usernames, or profile data.
No persistent chat histories or message archives.
No advertising identifiers, tracking cookies, or analytics SDKs.
No payment card numbers (Google Play processes purchases).

4. Third-Party Translation Providers

If you choose a provider (e.g., DeepL, Google) your text is sent only for translation under that provider’s privacy policy. You can change or disable providers in settings. We do not add providers without an update.

5. In-App Purchases

Transactions use Google Play Billing. We receive only entitlement status (e.g., purchase token) — never raw payment credentials.

6. Security

All network requests use HTTPS/TLS where available. We do not keep translation text on our servers after the real-time request completes. Avoid submitting sensitive financial, medical, or highly personal data.

7. Children’s Privacy

The app can be used by all ages, including children under 13. We do not collect personal information. Parents/guardians may contact us if they believe personal information was inadvertently provided so we can delete it.

8. International Transfers

Depending on the provider you select, text may transit to servers in other countries solely for translation.

9. User Control & Deletion

Uninstall the app to remove local preferences.
Do not enter sensitive personal, financial, or medical data.
Change the selected provider at any time.

10. Changes

We will update the Effective Date and version for material changes. Continued use after an update means acceptance.
